At the end of my game design studies at Paul Valéry University (Montpellier - France), I wrote a memoir (in french) about how ludonarrative dissonances in games can be helpful if game designers use them as a tool to emancipate the player experiences.
Interested by thematics such as critical play (Mary Flanagan), gamification (Jane McGonigal, Claire Siegel), procedural rethoric (Ian Bogost), distanciation at theater (Bertolt Brecht) and "détournements" from situationist movement (Guy Debord).
